Balloon Ride, Layout #4

Balloon Ride Layout #4! Use up to 12 photos! If you don't have enough to fill the spaces, you can use those for journaling or extra accents.

Almost any photos would look good in this layout. Consider making some of your photos black and white or sepia tone. I have chosen to make this a birth-1 year baby boy layout. In the photo above I have a newborn photo. Photos will continue by the month in the squares from right to left.

"Treasured Moments" is a dimensional elements piece that makes a great banner title for a focus image. This is where I intend to place a one year old photo.

What treasured moment would you choose?

Balloon Ride with Windy Day, Layout #3, Get Sketchy

Balloon Ride Layout #3 is inspired by a stamp set and a sketch!

I found this sketch at "Get Sketchy" blog Challenge! I used it on my Right Hand page of my layout. What do you think of my interpretation?

The pennant at the top of the sketch was a perfect place for the "Lovely" pennant letters in the dimensional elements that coordinate with the Balloon Ride kit. I also used the zip strip sentiments and date.

I was also inspired by the stamp set "Windy Day" from Close To My Heart. It coordinated perfectly with Balloon Ride Papers!

The sparkles from the kit made perfect wind swirls around the kites!

I could not resist adding the kites and clouds on 3D foam tape to give it extra dimension! So fun to see things pop from the page.

Balloon Ride, Layout #2

Balloon Ride layout #2 embraces the balloon motif with some fussy cutting and 3D foam tape! This technique was inspired by a layout my May Hostess shared with me and asked if I could incorporate in the design. She found this at scrapbook.com, Girlie Girl.

I cut a long 2 inch wide strip and contour cut the balloons that stuck past the 2 inch line. Then I cut along the tops, the parts that I wanted to use 3D foam tape under and removed a sliver of space around it so that the paper under could show.

I got a feeling of "escape" from the balloon motif so I used this layout for photos from an Anniversary Date with my Hubby a few years ago. Some might take it literally and use it for photos from a Balloon Ride trip? What photos do you think you would use? Family Reunion? Vacation?

The "Our Own Little World" stamp phrase that came with the kit is perfect for my Anniversary photos. I could also see it used for Baby, Kid Playdates, or new home photos.

The sparkles from the kit are simple and easy to add impact to these pages.

Can't wait to teach this class and new technique at my class in May!

Balloon Ride, Layout #1

The next Workshop On The Go Kit on my desk is Balloon Ride! I have a hostess doing a class with this kit in May. Can't wait!

Layout #1 that we will create is based on the suggested layout and sketch plans that come in the kit.

I decided to use my layout for photos from my Sister In Law's Wedding day, where my little girl was a flower girl!

If you were to use this layout what photos would you put in it?

Happy Easter! (with Lollydoodle)

Happy Easter everyone! Hope everyone found all their eggs! I found to today to be an appropriate day to share my Easter scrapbook layout created with the Lollydoodle Workshop On The Go Kit from Close To My Heart!

Simple cuts on the cricut to make the grass and the "Easter" title, made a big impact on the layout.

Watercolor pencils and the blending pen on the Egg stamp were a lot of fun! I colored down one side then used the blending pen to sweep it across and contour. The "Greatest Love" stamp set had the perfect Easter sentiments that I was looking for!

Hope you have enjoyed a Happy Easter!
