Snowhaven Scrapbook Layout winter colors and die cuts!

Snowhaven paper meets Color Dare #125 and Stuck On U Sketches Challenge.

This layout design was inspired by page 83 of the Annual Inspirations Catalog. This is my take on it with a few changes.

The current Color Dare challenge, #125, is Cranberry, Glacier, White Daisy, Black, and Whisper. These are exactly the colors we work with in the Snowhaven Paper Pack from Close To My Heart! In the above photo you see a few chipboard elements I used from the coordinating Complements pack.

I love this sentiment from the "Frosty Fun" stamp set! "Fun, Frost, and Family". I don't have them printed out yet, but I am going to be adding some pictures of an impromtu family sledding day we enjoyed last year. Great memories were made! I will update this post when I have my photos in place.

My Cricut Cartridges came to the rescue when it was time to create the title piece and snowflake die cuts. I love the crispness of the white snowflake against the black dot patterned paper! I'm excited to enter this layout in the die cut challenge at Stuck On U Sketches!

Celebrate Winter with Snowflakes and "Snowhaven"!

The snow is falling and it's time to celebrate the unique opportunities we have when it is Winter! Enter "Snowhaven" paper from Close To My Heart! I've had so much fun creating winter themed scrapbook pages and cards with it. I can't wait to show you!

 

This is one of the 2 page scrapbook layouts that I created! The title for this one could be considered "Snow Ball". Grey snowflakes are falling on the background in first and 2nd generation ink stamping technique. Beautiful snowflake patterned papers.

The "ball" of the title has a stamped image of children playing with snowballs. I created a couple accents using my new markers! I love how quick and easy it was to add the red stripes with the skinny tip end of the marker!

I added some chipboard mittens from the Complements pack and some black adhesive swirls!

I'm going to play along at the Friday Mashup Challenge #FM191! I hope they like my entry! I'm going to ask if I can enter again because I have a few more snowhaven creations I would like to share!
