Live In the Moment, Skylark #1

"Live in the Moment". I love this simple stamp phrase from the Skylark kit from Close To My Heart. It is a great element to use as a focal point.

I used 3D foam tape to pop up the "in the" section of the stamped image. Also, added the striped twisty ties as an extra accent.

In the top corner I stamped grey on grey with the dragonfly image and added some more twisty ties.

This phrase from the zip strip was fast and simple to add to the green section of this layout.

Can't wait to work on these scrapbook pages at the upcoming Skylark class I am teaching! We are going to create 4 different 2 page layouts.

Lots of Lagoon, Skylark Layout #2

I LOVE the "Lagoon" color, so I went for a mostly monochromatic color scheme on Skylark scrapbook layout #2.

The layout I created is based on this sketch inspiration I found on Pinterest! I saved it to my board I titled "Sketches".

It was fast and easy to use the above Dimensional Element for a simple Title piece!

This word was cut from the zip strip!

Beautiful Birds! Skylark Layout #3

 

This one's for the birds! Skylark Layout #3 embraces the "Bird" as theme and accent.

I love this beautiful dimensional element chipboard piece. This one said "love" and "Wedding" to me.

I was inspired to create a layout for my Wedding Album. (Don't tell, but we will be having our 10th wedding anniversary this coming summer and I am not ready! I don't have my scrapbook done! Ahh!)

I used the "tag" on the patterned paper as a journaling area!

This "Take Note" accent is part of the zip strip! I love the zip strips- they are little bonus gems!

Cozy and Cuddly in Skylark Layout #4

The new paper kit, Skylark, turned Cozy and Cuddly when I added these photos of my newborn!

Label was fussy cut from one of the patterned papers.

This January has been one of the coldest and snowiest in recent winter memory. Its been a great time to be home and snuggling with my baby boy. I took his newborn photos on his cuddly soft blanket. I'm going to submit this layout to the "Cozy and Cuddly" scrapbook challenge at Heart 2 Heart.

Skylark Dimensional Elements

When I saw the coordinating Dimensional Elements for Skylark- This sentiment was perfect, and I had to get my hands on it! "Because of YOU half the time I don't even know I'm smiling".

Title Accent

I used a couple more Dimensional Elements for a title accent. I layered the wooden looking pennant shape with stamped letters to read "newborn".

This layout is going to be Layout #4 at my Skylark Scrapbooking Class. It will look great for photos of baby boys, Weddings, Spring, Easter, ect...

New Product Blog Hop!

The New Spring/Summer 2014 Idea Book has been released! We are excited to share what's new in this Product Blog Hop! If you arrived here from Sheila's blog, then you are on the right track.

I made this scrapbook page (a page about leaving the Hospital with our new Baby) with one of my favorite new products, the Project Life Program!

I selected the photos I wanted, coordinating cards, and slid them all into my choice of pocket page protector- and I am done! This is a perfect way to scrapbook with a new baby!

When I opened my set, the Babycakes version, I could not believe how much product I got! The cards kept going and going and I loved the next one even more then the first! Keeping  p with my new baby's album is going to faster and easier now!
