Artbooking in August! Project #1! Cricut Layout

Are you ready to get creative?? Welcome to "Artbooking in August", a blog hop to show you the latest in Cricut innovations from Close To My Heart! Let 40 talented CTMH consultants inspire you with their creativity this month. Each Monday in August, these ladies will be posting artwork to their blogs and you can follow their blogs or set your alarm to make sure you do not miss a post!

If you arrived here from Jan's Blog then you are on the right track!

Our challenge was to create 4 different projects using the Cricut Artbooking cartridge and any CTMH paper pack. For this week I chose the 2 page layout.

1. 2 page layout
2. Card
3. Mini Book
4. Home decor or giftable item

Artbooking was the perfect excuse to finally scrap this special topic- My sister in laws 30th Birthday party! This cartridge as awesome birthday items, for this layout I used the titles!

I hopped around in the cartridge and used bits and pieces from all over. What i was most excited about was I created the right hand page frame well panel with my Gypsy cardstock, then used the negative space as photo mats on the left side page! (Get some mileage out of my cardstock!)

The stamps I used here in the title are part of the Bundle that comes with the Artbooking cartridge.

Couldn't wait to try out the new Washi Tape!

Hope you like my 2 Page Layout example using Artbooking! Now hop on over to Jane's Blog and see what she has created! Don't forget to tune in again next Monday to see more ideas!
