January is the month with #1 assigned to it. The first challenge at
Heart 2 Heart for this month (and so far this year) has the #1 as a theme. What project can you create with a #1 in it? I used this as a chance to start scrapping the current school year for my Son and got his 1st Grade layout started! (You have until the end of this month to play along).
I used the colors and papers from the Urban Collection for my layout. I was very excited about how well my Son's school picture coordinated with the papers.
For the design of my layout I was inspired by a sketch challenge over at
Let's Scrap! You have until halfway through this month to play along with this challenge too!
I used the new color, Peacock, as the base to my layout. It is a beautiful shade of teal-ish blue! It coordinates in beautiful contrast to the yellow and grey shades.
Hope to see you enter your projects at H2H and Let's Scrap!
Happy Crafting- HeatherJane
