CR84FN67 Color Challenge!

This is a new Color Challenge that I stumbled upon on Pinterest, after my friend Casandra pinned it. I LOVE Purple! This color challenge was an absolute must for pages I needed to make for my Wedding Album!

Plum, Gold, and Tan. Here is the 2 page layout I created based on this! You can play along at the Spark Your Creative Spirit CR84FN Challenge Blog too!

I used Bamboo (Tan) bases. I built on them with Smokey Plum and Gypsy Purple card stock. I added purple Ribbon and ties. My Gold is large shimmer brads that anchor the ribbon ties.

I thought this color scheme was the perfect fit for these pages I wanted to make about my Husband's grandparents who were all able to attend our Wedding! I used the little cricut cut shapes as journaling areas to put thier names and the number of years they were married. We are so glad they could all be at our special day!

Black and White and Red!

What's black and white and red all over? A wedding card that celebrates love! :)

When I get an invitation to a Wedding I get really excited! I try to craft a card that matches the style of the invitation. I know that the Bride and Groom put a lot of thought and effort into picking out an invitation design that was special to them. The invitation to this wedding had a black background with white text and a doily/henna style design on it.

The journaling spots pockets were a perfect match for this card! I stamped a sentiment on the tag that slides out and replaced the string with Cranberry Red ribbon.

I have entered this card in the Heart 2 Heart Color Challenge. The Challenge was to paper craft an item using black and white and only one other color. This is a really fun blog to enter artwork you create using Close to my Heart products. You can play along too!
