I created this Valentine for my Son and Daughter and gave it to them on Valentine's Day this year. When I discovered I could combine the puffiness of Close to my Heart's liquid applique with the cuteness of this lamb stamp from the "Howdy" set- I could NOT resist that adorableness!
If you were able to attend my New Idea Book reveal party at the end of January you were able to create this card for yourself as a make-n-take project! We used the heat gun to make the dried liquid applique "fluff". The patterned papers are from the Stella Paper Pack. I provided a pre-cut heart shape that I cut on my cricut out of Cranberry Red Card Stock with my Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. We used the micro-tip scissors to trim out the lamb and also added a little color for the nose and hooves with the blender pens.
The "Happy Valentine's Day" stamp is from the December Stamp of the Month from 2011 called "Mad about you". I stamped it on the inside and on the flap of the envelope. What do you think?
I entered this card in the Heart 2 Heart blog challenge from Close to my Heart. I also have it available for purchase in my Etsy Shop.

The new workshop on the go kit that caught my eye first was the "Stella" Kit. I love the colors in it! I paired the Stella papers with the Canvas Complements that coordinate to create this special layout.
This NEW Idea Book is a very exciting one! I am very excited about the new paper packs, fresh ideas, and brand new products. I have a fabulous wishlist of items I can't wait to try! Springs, baker's twine, studs, peeps, dinosaurs... :) Can't wait to hear what things you are most excited about.

Layout using Stella Paper and Canvas Complements
Canvas Stick-ease. Groupings in numbers of 3 are aesthetically pleasing, so I chose 3 circle shapes from the canvas stickers and placed them vertically along the side of my page.
This sentiment from the canvas complements was perfect for this family event of celebrating a birthday.

The NEW "Stella" Kit!
I have had a lot of fun creating with the "Stella" kit from the Spring/Summer 2012 Idea Book, which goes live on Feb. 1st! I really like the trendy color combinations and the grid pattern on the main layout. The stamp set that it comes with has some really cute sentiments on it too! Check out the layouts I created. I will be teaching these at a workshop on Feb 18th!

When your kits arrive I will insert a cutting guide that will list all of the cuts we need to make to create these pages. We will be able to move through all of the pages if you are able to make your cuts before class. A tip from one of my customers is to pile up all of the cuts that go to a certain page and sandwich them in a piece of folded scrap paper. That way you are not scrambling through a stack of paper while we work. Please get a hold of me if you have any questions about cutting your papers.
Remember that I will need to place our supply order on Feb 1st or 2nd so that we will be sure to have our kits in time. Please email me with your RSVP order.
