Clementine Scrapbook Class!

I love the Clementine Workshop on the Go Kit from Close To My Heart! The colors are beautiful and natural, yet exciting. The flower embellishments are adorable! Plus, I love the stamp set because it is perfect for the "kissing" technique! Take a look at the layouts I created for my scrapbook class.

The highlight from my Clementine Layout #1 is the zip strip that had the perfect word accents for photos that I loved!

The highlight from my Clementine Layout #2 is the stamp set which was perfect to create a "kissed" flower accent. Simply ink the base solid shape, then "kiss" it by stamping a smaller detailed stamp that is UN-inked against the original inked stamp. It will remove ink and reveal a great one of a kind look when it is stamped!

This layout is for my Wedding Album. It is for our Father Daughter Dance and Mother Son Dance. My husband and I danced with our parents to the same song. I am going to use the white space I left blank on the LH page to display the song lyrics!

The highlight from my 4th Clementine Layout is that I love the blue and western type accents in the background and texture papers. It was a great fit for these photos of my daughter in her denim cowgirl overalls!

Moonlight Scrapbook Layout #2

My second Moonlight Scrapbook Layout that I created with my kit from Close to my Heart is based on the design that comes in the brochure with the kit. I just simplified a few things to make it easier to teach at our workshop.

This layout was ideal for photos from my daughter's 5th Birthday Party! We had a Halloween Party! I was so excited that the Moonlight Kit has PURPLE in it! I could not wait to get to this layout to use the purple. (Have you figured out yet what my favorite color is?)

To create the lamp post we stamped it in Archival black on our purple. Then while it still had black ink on it I stamped it on the sponged patterned paper over an area that was orange and cut out just the windows to the lantern. I lined that piece up with where the lamp would look "lit". Then I cleaned the stamps and stamped it again in goldrush ink again on the sponged pattern paper. Then I trimmed it out and placed it on the sign area of the main lamp post. Add some black gems and wha-la! :)

The coordinating chipboard compliments made this accent quick and easy!

Those who know me personally know I hold a special place in my heart for a real FEAR of spiders! But this guy is so cute I actually love him! :) The sparkly eyes make his irresistible on this layout!

"Farm Princess", Dreamin' Kit Layout

I am so excited to have dug into my "Dreamin'" Kit! I LOVE the Autumn colors in this kit, and playing with the sparkly over-sized brads and the glitz gel is so much fun! I found some photos from last year of my daughter and I knew right away they would be perfect for the colors on these papers. Then I spotted a layout pattern in Studio J that I knew I wanted to try and recreate in paper.

I found the Heart 2 Heart Challenge for Close to my Heart Consultants. This week is "tell a story in your journaling on a scrapbook page". So, since I was going to title this layout "Farm Princess" I decided to tell the story in a "Once upon a time" style. I think it turned out pretty cute!
